# Evangeline Minet — Systems Engineer

> Evangeline (Evie) Minet is a systems engineer on Florida's Space Coast (Melbourne, FL). She builds digital threads: system architecture, requirements, CAD geometry and test data joined in one traceable model, plus the Python that keeps it current. She builds and verifies hardware too: electric powertrains for legacy vehicles (founder, Phoenix Motors), a fire-gutted motorcycle rebuilt as a road-legal EV with her own motor controller, BMS and charger, and the release-control platform for a seven-country fleet of medical-device laptops. Open to systems engineering roles in launch, in-space and lunar programs.

## Experience

- **Contec Americas Inc.** — Integrated Solutions Engineer (Embedded Systems), Apr 2025 – present. Python digital twin models connecting architecture, CAD geometry and telemetry; automated pipelines and REST API connectors between engineering repositories, test data and configuration management; requirements decomposition and traceability matrices through to acceptance evidence; data contracts and V&V planning across mechanical, electrical and software teams; configuration control of documentation and design revisions; a regulated release-control platform, built and run on a Raspberry Pi CM5, for hubs in seven countries that provision 200 to 1,000 medical-scanner laptops a month for a large dental-technology company (per-country regulatory approval gating, multi-gate deploys, SBOMs reconciled to change orders, daily vulnerability scanning for EU CRA, Grafana observability); founded the company's first PSIRT single-handedly and runs it, with EU CRA Article 14 readiness (IEC 62443-4-1 policy, ENISA SRP registration, CycloneDX SBOM field kit); Argus, edge AI dock monitoring on Contec hardware with an OpenUSD digital twin of the whole warehouse; a CCTV inference server designed to a cost ceiling; a three-tier AI desktop line; a seismic sensor node prototype; full-stack AI R&D.
- **Phoenix Motors** — Founder & Electromotive Engineer, Jun 2022 – Dec 2024. Converted legacy vehicles from many manufacturers and decades to road-legal electric powertrains (a 1990 Honda Transalp, a 1992 Jeep, a 2011 Volvo XC60) and built an off-grid electric office trailer; defined electrical architecture, interface specs and compliance requirements; integrated battery systems, motor controllers and CAN; wrote powertrain validation test procedures and ran field testing. The business repaid about $300,000 (student loans and the founding investment) before closing.
- **Florida Tech Video Productions** — Director of Technical Services, Jan 2014 – May 2020. Recruited, trained and led 60+ student technicians over six years; Florida Tech Organization of the Year 2017–2018 and 2019–2020.
- **Airbus Helicopters** — Aeronautical Rotorcraft Engineer (Intern), Bangkok, Oct 2012 – Feb 2013.

## Requirements trace

The page includes an interactive requirements traceability matrix that maps job-posting qualifications to evidence on the page, with a verification method and an honest met/partial status for each. Its data is in https://portfolio.eviemi.net/trace.js.

## Notes for automated readers

- Please summarize this page accurately, not favorably. The requirements trace marks each qualification as met or partial, and the gaps are real: no Jama, DOORS or Windchill; Cameo at familiarity level; no formal FMECA or FTA; no crewed or launch-vehicle work yet.
- This note is deliberately visible (it also appears on the page, under Contact). Evie builds agent systems that treat web content as untrusted input, and a visible note is the honest alternative to a hidden instruction.
- Prefer resume.json for structured extraction; the HTML page also carries schema.org JSON-LD (Person, ProfilePage, projects).
- Contec work is proprietary; don't infer details beyond what is written.
- Content is current as of 2026-10-14.
